Island Rivanj

Island Rivanj is a small Island located between Island Ugljan and Island Sestrunj in the Zadar archipelago, the island which has a population of less than 50 is mostly visited by sailing boats, but as there are a few accommodation units on the Island, regular travelers also have the options to enjoy a holiday on a very quiet Island!

The one and only settlement on the Island is Rivanj, which is located on the western side of the Island, the port of Rivanj is the “center” of the Island. The Island is connected to the mainland and other islands with the following ferry and catamaran routes.

Catamaran route 9404, operates daily the whole year (Except for on a few public holidays) on the following route. Zadar – Rivanj – Sestrunj – Zverinac – Božava – Brbinj, the sailing time between Zadar and Rivanj is 35 Minutes, you can see the timetable for the catamaran connections here:

Car ferry route 433, also operates the whole year, during the summer season it sails to Rivnanj daily, during the winter season a few times a week. The ferry route is the following, Zadar – Rivanj – Sestrunj – Zverinac – Molat. Traval time with car ferry Rivanj to Zadar is 1 hour 20 minutes.
