The Pelješac Cellars Festival begins

Experience Peljesac peninsula in a new eno-gastronomic event – Pelješac Cellars Festival!

Peljesac is often associated with wine, so winemakers and caterers from Pelješac will open their doors in a month to the satisfaction of many wine glass lovers.

Everyone who finds themselves on the peninsula in the period from May 15 to June 15 will experience Peljesac in all its flavours and aromas. During the festival, wineries participating in the project will offer their visitors discounts on wine (20% on certain wine palettes), and restaurants and taverns will have menus with traditional Peljesac specialities accompanied with a glass of local wine designed specifically for the festival (two menus, one of 120 HRK and one of 180 HRK).

This project involved 53 participants, from wineries, wine bars, restaurants, family farms and shellfish farms.

The Pelješac Cellars Festival is a themed event that does not pose a security risk even during a pandemic, there are no large gatherings and it is recommended to come to the wineries by appointment. The festival will also include educational workshops, professional lectures and various other events of interest to wine lovers.

This is a great opportunity for all who during their stay want an authentic experience inspired by the rich gastronomy and wine tradition, as well as one-day visitors who want to get a special tourist experience.

The event was designed by all four tourist boards from Pelješac (Ston, Trpanj, Janjina and Orebić) in cooperation with the company Feel IQM. Through joint coordination with winemakers and caterers from all over Peljesac, the final details of the event were designed.

Peljesac with its wine tradition, traditional taverns and fish restaurants will satisfy even the pickiest palates. Wine for the people of Peljesac is much more than a good drink, a lot of love and passion is brought into this story that lasts for centuries.

The organizers, therefore, invite you to the Pelješac Cellars Festival to embark on a new eno-gastronomic experience.
