The sea on most beaches in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County is of excellent quality
The Public Health Institute of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County conducted the first regular sea survey this year on 121 beaches in the county, in the period from 16 to 26 May 2022.
According to the results of the analysis, on 116 beaches the sea is of excellent quality, on three beaches the sea was rated good, while the sea on the beaches Ispod Zidina in Korčula and Ušće Ploče was rated satisfactory.
More detailed information is available to the public on the websites of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy and the Public Health Institute of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, where you can see the quality ratings shown in colored circular symbols. Blue circles indicate locations where the sea is of excellent quality, green circles indicate good quality, yellow satisfactory while red circles indicate unsatisfactory sea quality.
Most beaches on the Adriatic are marked with a blue circle. Only one received an unsatisfactory grade, and that is Đardin beach in Kaštel Stari.
