Catamaran for Hvar and Brac operates from Split Airport again
The Adriatic Express catamaran departs from the port of Bol (island of Brač) at 12:15 am via the port of Hvar towards the airport of Split and with the afternoon departure from the airport of Split at 06:50 pm towards the ports of Hvar and Bol.
This enables a direct and fast connection with Hvar for one hour and 15 minutes.
The same line also offers the possibility of a day trip from the city port of Split to Bol with departure at 10:50 am and return at 7:50 pm, ideal for a visit to Bol’s beach Zlatni rat.
Catamaran on Brijuni island
A new passenger ship will sail through the waters of the Brijuni National Park from the autumn. It is a catamaran, a prototype ship that is entirely a domestic product. From the project to the finalization, everything was done by Pula companies.
After a year and a half in the shipyard, the ship finally has a name and is at sea. The emotional moment of immersion through tears was described by the godmother of the ship Grozdana Božić: “When you love an archipelago and such a big thing happens, and you are a little emotional by nature – then you certainly experience it with special feelings”.
The ship will further enrich the Brijuni fleet. It can accommodate 150 passengers and is part of the largest Brijuni project “New attire of Brijuni“. With it, says Maša Mihelić, head of the Service for preparation and implementation of the project of the Public Institution NP Brijuni, the national park gets the opportunity to put into operation the island of Mali Brijun, its connection with the mainland and the implementation of all programs provided for the island.
