– The children came from different regions of Ukraine from the occupied territories. There are children of veterans, but also children whose parents were killed. We are very grateful to Croatia and the Association “Croatia helps” for organizing this holiday, it is very important for the children that we removed them a little from the area where the war is being fought. All in order to forget for a moment about the horror that is happening in their homeland. The Croatian ambassador presented them with interesting souvenirs and T-shirts.
– The children really spent an active vacation. They were accompanied by social workers, animators and volunteers. The children really felt good there and say that they come back recovered, said Đurđa Adlešić, Association “Croatia helps”.
