OSOR – The bridge on Privlaka, which connects the two parts of the island of Lošinj, will not be opened until further notice

As they say in Hrvatske ceste, the work to eliminate the defect is scheduled for the second half of November, and it will be carried out so that an auxiliary bridge will not be installed on the side, but vehicles will be able to cross the bridge during the work, writes portal otoci.net.

The central axis of the bridge was damaged as a result of frequent crossings of overloaded freight vehicles at high speed.

Until further notice, sailors on larger vessels will have to pass through the Kavuada channel in Osor (at 9 am or 5 pm) or go around the entire island.
