ISLAND IN ISTRIA FOR SALE They are also selling in Kvarner and Dalmatia

MEDULIN – Looking for an apartment, a house, a plot of land or maybe an island? No problem. Croatia has a handful of islands for sale. They are for sale as exclusive real estate with existing facilities, and the prices range up to a staggering 20 million and 400 thousand euros, the same as the island of Ceja in the Medulin Bay.

The uninhabited island of Ceja in the Medulin Bay is for sale for a staggering 20 million and 400 thousand euros!

Ceja is largely privately owned. Namely, of the total area of 162 thousand square meters, 102 thousand are privately owned, and the rest is owned by the state.

However, as Istra24 has learned from the real estate agent with whom the sale of the island was announced, the ownership could change soon.

Peace, quiet and beautiful beaches

Considering that there is only one catering facility on Ceja, the island is known for its peace and quiet, but also for its beautiful beaches.

There is also an old house of 40 square meters on the island, which was built, the ad says, before 1968.

Tourists visit Ceja more often than the domicile population, mostly by private boats or organized boat transport. We will find out soon whether any of them liked it so much that they are willing to set aside more than 20 million euros to enjoy the climate, flora and fauna of southern Istria.

In the meantime, it should be said that Croatia – a country of a thousand islands – is obviously willing to give up this recognizable slogan in the future. Of course, at a good price.

In addition to the unique Ceja in the Medulin Bay, there are numerous islands for sale in the Kornati archipelago. Some of them are three to four times larger than Ceja, and their prices, depending on the proximity of the National Park, ranging from 11 to 70 euros per square meter.

What to take to a desert island?

You can find the island for yourself in central Dalmatia, but that’s not all. The island in the Šibenik archipelago is for sale for 700 thousand euros, and you can negotiate the price of the island near Mali Lošinj in the northern Adriatic. It is to be assumed, however, that the price will be “peppery” given that it is an area of 400 thousand square meters.

So, summer is approaching, and all you should take with you to a desert island in our beautiful country is a thick wallet.
