Island Zverinac

The Island Zverinac in the Zadar archipelago is located between the Island Tun Veli and Dugi Otok, the island is about 4.5 km long and up to 1.2 km wide, this island covers a surface of about 4 km2. The only settlement on the Island is Zverinac, which is located on the west side of the Island towards Dugi Otok, the population is less than 50 people. There are a few accommodation units for rent on the Island, so if you are looking for a holiday in a peaceful spot Zverinac might be an option!

Getting to Zverinac Island

From the port in Zverinac, there are car ferries and fast ferry/catamaran connection to Zadar and Islands nearby.

Car ferry route 433:  Molat – Zverinac – Sestrunj – Rivanj – Zadar sails to and from Island Zverinac daily in the summer period and up to 3 times weekly in the winter period, the sailing time from Zverinac to Zadar on the mainland is between 2 hours and 2 hours 30 minutes, Here you can see timetable and buy tickets for car ferry:

The Catamaran route 9404:  Brbin (Dugi Otok) – Bozava – Zverinac – Sestrunj – Rivanj – Zadar sails to and from Zverinac every day year-round, except for on a few public holidays, the sailing time from Zadar to Zverinac is about 1 hour 15 minutes, the timetable and tickets for catamaran connection to Zverinac you can see here:

Price ferry Zadar – Zverinac

A one-way adult ticket with the catamaran costs about 40 Kuna in the high season and about 25 Kn in the low season, the car ferry is a bit cheaper with a ticket price of around 24 Kn in the summer and around 20 Kuna in winter. Bringing a regular car to the island costs cca. 160 Kuna.
