Jadrolinija giving free ferry tickets for Saint Nicholas Day

State-owned ferry company Jadrolinija is giving free ferry tickets for children up to 12 years old, for Saint Nicholas Day, December 6h. Saint Nicholas was a patron saint of children, and it’s associated with bringing presents, which is why children especially like the holiday. He was also a patron saint of sailors, and per some legends he did numerous miracles, such as calming the turbulent seas. 

This is why Jadrolinija decided to mark the holiday with a special discount. Sailors account for 75 percent of all employees in the company. All children will therefore drive Jadrolinija ferries for free, on Saturday 5th and Sunday the 6th of December. In addition to marking the St. Nicholas holiday, with this campaign, the company is showing the gratitude to all the passengers who were with them in these challenging times.

Free tickets can be picked up at all Jadrolinija sales points, their official website and their mobile application. The campaign includes all ferry, fast ferry and catamaran routes in Croatia, which are serviced by Jadrolinija.
