Krilo chosen to operate a Lastovo – Korcula – Dubrovnik ferry line

As we’ve recently written, a competition for a ferry route Lastovo – Korcula – Dubrovnik (and vice versa) was published back in September. Now, the results by the Croatian Agency for Coastal Traffic are here, and Kapetan Luka – Krilo is the chosen company to operate the route.

The ferry route number 9808 is an unprofitable state fast ferry route, going from the Ubli terminal on Lastovo island to the Korcula port and arriving in the Dubrovnik ferry port. A total of three offers came to the Agency; by Krilo Shipping Company d.o.o., Adriatic Fast Ferries d.o.o. and Kapetan Luka – Krilo, owned by Ivan Tomić.

The Agency published the rules and regulations of the competition in September. The deadline to send the offers was October 26th 2020, 10:30h. After the deadline, the Agency board opened all the offers in Split and recently made their decision.
