New data on tourist traffic on Brac Island

The Tourist Board of Split-Dalmatia County announced that according to the eVisitor system, a total of 51,336 arrivals and 199,916 overnight stays were made in the county in May this year.

Last month, domestic guests made a total of 14,576 arrivals and foreign 36,763 arrivals. As for overnight stays, domestic guests accounted for 19% of overnight stays (38,818), while foreign guests accounted for 163,098 overnight stays.

753 domestic arrivals on Brac in May

It is inappropriate to compare the data of Split-Dalmatia County with the data of eVisitor from May 2020, considering the coronavirus pandemic. On the island of Brač, the largest number of arrivals was recorded in Supetar (1,234), followed by Bol (769), while Sutivan was in third place according to arrivals (253). Milna had 152 arrivals, Postira 117, Selca 105, and Pucisca 66 arrivals. In May, a total of 753 arrivals of domestic and 1,943 foreign tourists were recorded.

Almost 5,000 overnight stays in Supetar

The county also published data on the number of overnight stays for the past month. Thus, according to eVisitor, most overnight stays were in Supetar (4,964), followed by Bol (3,739), Sutivan (1,300), Selce (950), Milna (738), Postira (547) and Pučišća (273). In the town of Supetar last month, domestic guests realized 1,240 and foreign guests 3,724 overnight stays, while in Bol 445 domestic overnight stays and 3,294 overnight stays of foreign guests were recorded. It is also interesting to note that Sutivan is in third place in terms of the number of overnight stays. Additionally, foreign guests had 1,039 overnight stays and domestic guests 261 overnight stays.

100,518 arrivals in Split-Dalmatia County since the beginning of the year

According to the report of the Tourist Board of the Split-Dalmatia County, from January to May, 45,395 domestic arrivals and 55,123 foreign arrivals were recorded, which makes a total of 100,518 arrivals. In the mentioned period, 1,392 arrivals of domestic and 1,118 arrivals of foreign guests were realized in Supetar.

In the same period, there were a total of 401,949 overnight stays in the county. Domestic guests accounted for 30% (121,919) and foreign guests for 70% of overnight stays (280,030).
