Pasman gets the first charging station for electric vehicles
In March this year, Croatian Electricity Company (HEP) and the Municipality of Pasman concluded an Agreement on Cooperation in the HEP Development Project for the Construction of Infrastructure for Charging Electric Motor Vehicles.
The agreement states that the Municipality of Pasman, as part of its economic policy of corporate social responsibility and in accordance with the directive of the European Parliament and the Council on the establishment of infrastructure for alternative fuels and the Law on the establishment of infrastructure for alternative fuels, wants to support the development of electromobility.
The new charging station will operate as part of the first Croatian chain of publicly available charging stations for electric vehicles – ELEN, developed by HEP.
The project includes the installation and maintenance of one charging station in Pasman at the location Malinisce, within which two parking spaces will be provided.
The works on the charging station, which started several days ago, should be completed soon, after which it will become the only charging station for electric vehicles on the island of Pasman and Ugljan island.
