Rab Film Festival 2020 – New movie experience

The second edition of the research film festival – Rab Film Festival – RAFF 2020 will be held on Saturday, August 22, starting at 8 pm in 1st Padova bay, on the Croatian island Rab.

Organizers agree that this year is by far the most challenging for all film festivals. While many were forced to postpone their events for another part of the year, some partially and/or completely switched to online editions. Others, including the RAFF organizers adapted their performance to the current situation caused by COVID-19 virus pandemic.

Last year’s edition of Rab Film Festival ended with a screening and announcement of the winners in the sea bay, where the audience watched movies from the boats.

This year, it was decided, in accordance with the recommended epidemiological measures, to provide a loyal audience with that same unforgettable experience. Namely, visitors will be able to attend a boat cinema, locally ‘kaich cinema’. This special experience of sea cinema – RAFF Seaplex Kaich – is a step forward in the tourist and cinema offer of the city of Rab, Croatian islands, but also the entire country.
