SNAV Easter discounts and Civitanova-Croatia ferry returns

The connections between the port of Civitanova and Croatia are back after three years. Goro Tours agency’s from Pesaro requested to reactivate the passenger line for the two destinations on the Adriatic next summer, in the period between the 24th of July and the 25th of August.

The company, in its proposal, talks about the use of the Krilo Eclipse ship (440 seats) or alternatively the Krilo Jet ship (346 seats). Goro Tours also asked the Municipality to be able to use the small room which was already used in the summer of 2018 as a ticket office and distribution of advertising material for the same purpose.

The mayor Fabrizio Ciarapica comments how everything depends on the epidemiological situation that we will have next summer but they intend to restore this promising service to bringing a greater influx of tourists to the city, both of people arriving from Croatia and of people who simply use Civitanova as a stopover.

So far, there are no mentions of any restrictions related to COVID-19. On the other hand, it is difficult to make predictions about the possibility of travel within four months. However, if next summer has a semblance of normality, the connection with Croatia could become a reality again.
