Two new catamaran lines starting from June
The shipping company G&V Line Iadera from Zadar is maintaining a new high-speed line Rijeka-Krk-Rab-Silba-Zadar and vice versa this season (from June to September)
The line is seasonal and is maintained by the catamaran Antonija with a capacity of 200 passengers. The catamaran has a comfortable air-conditioned lounge and coffee machines, refreshing drinks, and snacks. Personal luggage up to 20 kg is included in the ticket price, and passengers also can transport a bicycle (the number of seats is limited, so a reservation is required). For the transport of bicycles and animals (pets) an additional amount is paid.
At the same time, on Monday, May 24, 2021, the first voyage will take place on the state high-speed line 9808 Lastovo – Korčula – Dubrovnik and vice versa, which will be maintained by the shipping company TP line d.o.o.
The ship departs from Lastovo at 6:00 am, docks in Korcula at 7:15 am and the planned arrival in Dubrovnik is at 9:35 am.
The line will be maintained by the catamaran Anastasia by the shipowner TP line d.o.o. which has been selected as the most favourable bidder in the negotiated public procurement procedure.
Ferry Lastovo became a film set
After the start of filming The Crossing on Jadrolinija’s ferry Lastovo in Pula, last weekend the film set moved to the port of Rijeka.
It is a Dutch-Belgian-Croatian co-production of the debut feature film by Dutch director Jacqueline Van Vugt, which is being shot for a full month at various locations in Croatia.
The plot of the film is set on a ship, more precisely during the transition from Morocco to Spain, and it intertwines three separate stories.
The Lastovo ferry served as an important part of the scene since a large part of the action takes place during the trip by sea and in the interiors of this Jadrolinija ferry.
